We process personal data for the following purposes:

  • Website analytics (Umami, self-hosted) — to understand usage patterns and improve the service. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Umami is cookieless and does not track individual users.
  • Error monitoring (Sentry) — to detect and fix bugs. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Contact form — to respond to your inquiries. Legal basis: performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

3. Categories of Personal Data

  • IP address (anonymized by Umami — no raw IPs stored)
  • Error context (browser type, page URL, stack traces — collected by Sentry)
  • Name and email address (provided via contact form)

4. Recipients of Personal Data

Error monitoring data is processed by Functional Software, Inc. (Sentry), based in the United States. Data transfers are covered by EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs). Analytics data is processed on our own self-hosted Umami instance and is not shared with third parties.

5. Data Retention

  • Analytics data: 26 months
  • Sentry error data: 90 days
  • Contact form submissions: 12 months

8. Obligation to Provide Data

You are not required to provide personal data to use the CBAM calculator. Providing your name and email via the contact form is voluntary but necessary for us to respond to your inquiry.
