CBAMPro

Terms of Service

Last updated: March 2026

1. Service Description

CBAMPro provides a free, open-source Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) cost estimation tool. The calculator allows EU importers to estimate CBAM-related costs based on product category, country of origin, and quantity inputs.

2. Disclaimer of Liability

This tool provides indicative estimates only. It is not a substitute for professional legal or customs advice. CBAMPro accepts no liability for decisions made based on calculator output.

The estimates generated are for informational purposes and do not constitute official CBAM declarations. Users are solely responsible for verifying results against current regulations and consulting qualified professionals before making any business or compliance decisions.

3. Accuracy of Calculations

Calculations are based on Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/2621 (IR 2025/2621) and may not reflect the latest regulatory changes. Actual CBAM costs depend on the EU ETS carbon price at the time of certificate surrender and any applicable carbon price adjustments for the country of origin. Default emission values and benchmark data are periodically updated but may lag behind official publications.

4. Intellectual Property

The CBAMPro name, logo, and website design are the property of the operator. The underlying calculation methodology is based on publicly available EU regulations. The source code is released under an open-source license as indicated in the project repository.

5. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Any disputes arising from the use of this service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Czech Republic, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence within the EU.

6. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective upon publication on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
